Karen Coker - CEO
Karen founded CIC in September 2005 to provide marketing
services to a skin care manufacturing company in South Korea. Karen has 15 years in global marketing and business management.
Her past experience includes investment management with the DoD, international marketing and e-business management with Millennium
Inorganic Chemicals, and business process engineering and marketing with companies in the medical device manufacturing, games,
and entertainment industries. Karen is a veteran project manager with PMP certification. Karen
is also an adjunct faculty member of the Towson University Department of Mass Communications and Communications Studies.
Karen holds an M.B.A. degree from Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland
and a B.S. degree from Towson State University.
Tim Horchar - Executive Director
Tim has a solid background in marketing and more than 15 years
of experience in the beauty and personal care industry. He began his career with Procter & Gamble, starting in IT management
and later shifting into marketing and sales management. Tim has extensive experience managing market analysis, program development,
and interactive marketing projects for the P&G cosmetic lines including the Cover Girl brand. Tim has extensive financial
forecasting and scenario planning experience.
Tim holds an M.B.A.
degree from the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore and a B.S. degree from Villa Julie College.
